Controls Hide isn't working is likely due to an issue with accessibility not being enabled for the service automatically by the Toolbox. For some reason or other I cannot get it to work because I can't change the enabled_accessibility_services string from ADB. Not sure why that is?! ?But, to get it to work all you need to do is open the Settings app, then tap on Accessibility, and enable the ParentalControlHide service. This should get it up and running. I can click on the image I want, but when it says do you want to crop it, I click "yes" but every image I try it says "editing not supported for this image". I used the toolbox to disable all of amazon apps and set nova to default launcher. Today it seems amazon pushed two new apps books and newsstand (these apps are not listed in the apps within everything amazon inside toolbox) and this has enabled the default fire launcher. How can I block them from pushing apps onto the device?Also using package identifier, for newsstand it does not identify the pakage and for books it will not disable package it gives an error. For the launcher I just disabled fire launcher again and nova works as default again but now I have 2 amazon apps that were forced onto the device and I cant get rid of. Similar threads
